Terrence joined Chambers after serving his pupillage with Mr Edwin Choy SC, Ms Catherine Wong, Mr Lawrence Hui, and Mr Stanley Ng. Terrence accepts instruction across all areas of Chambers’ practice, with a particular interest in criminal matters. His criminal practice encompasses a broad spectrum of cases, including manslaughter, sexual offences, white-collar crimes, drug-related offences, dishonesty crimes, violent crimes, traffic offences, and industrial summonses.
On the civil side, Terrence has experience in a diverse range of matters, including medical negligence, contractual and commercial disputes, intra-corporate disputes, trusts, probate, land, matrimonial matters, and judicial review. Terrence has appeared in the High Court, District Court and Magistrates’ Courts either as a led junior or as an advocate in his own right.
He is also fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Before joining the Bar, Terrence was an enthusiastic mooter. He served as the oralist for CUHK at the 23rd Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot and represented King’s College at the Mock Trial Competition in 2015. Since his PCLL, Terrence has contributed as both a coach and an organiser in numerous Mock Trial Competitions.
