Liberty Chambers is one of the most sought-after Chambers for Tenancy, Pupillage and Mini-pupillage. Pupillage/Mini-pupillage
The selection process for Pupillage seeks to identify those Barristers who are dedicated to a future at the Hong Kong Bar and who possess the skills and character to succeed in the tough and competitive legal world.
Those who successfully complete their Pupillage in Liberty Chambers are given preferential consideration where there is an opportunity to join our expanding family of Barristers.
All applications for pupillage and mini-pupillage are considered based on merit by the Pupillage Committee.
Please include a signed cover letter, curriculum vitae and a recent photograph (for identification purposes only).
Please note that applications for summer mini-pupillages must be received by Chambers on or before 31st March each year. Late applications will not be considered.

Advocacy Training
Members of Liberty Chambers are actively involved in advocacy training for students and pupil barristers.
Our own in-house training facility is equipped with the latest HDV video equipment with computer hard-drive filming to allow for instant playback on big screen projection.
Senior members of Chambers are renowned for the popularity of the continuing legal education courses that they regularly conduct. Junior members are actively involved in teaching at the university level and assisting in workshops run by visiting advocacy trainers.
